Madonna Celebrates An Important Anniversary With Another Surprise Release

  • As she continues to recover from a serious bacterial infection that sent her to the hospital, Madonna isn't remaining silent. 
  • On Thursday (July 27), Madonna Released “Lucky Star (Remixes),” An EP That Focuses On One Of Her Earliest Smashes. 
  • The EP features three versions of the single "Lucky Star" including the original, a seven-inch edit, and one track labeled the U.S. remix. The short project is the latest remix collection from Madonna, who has been doling them out all year. 
  • "Lucky Star" was initially released in the fall of 1983. The track served as the fourth single from her self-titled debut album, following in the footsteps of hits "Everybody," "Burning Up," and "Holiday." It would be followed by another memorable tune, "Borderline."
