  • A 13-year-old Oklahoma youngster just did something no one has ever done before - beat the original Nintendo version of Tetris.
  • Tetris whiz and YouTuber Willis Gibson managed to reach the legendary 'kill screen' at level 157 - a point at which the game crashes and can no longer function.
  • Before Gibson's big play, the 'kill screen' had only been reached using AI-assisted tools.
  • Gibson has been competing in Tetris tournaments since 2021, and placed third in last year's Classic Tetris World Championship.
