Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day Is Returning

Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day Is Returning

  • Ben & Jerry's is bringing back a fan favorite, Free Cone Day.
  • On Free Cone Day from noon until 8 p.m., you can grab as many free cones as you want. Yes, unlimited ice cream.
  • The celebration began in 1979 as a way for co-owners Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield to celebrate that their new business survived the winter.
  • Free Cone Day returned last year after a four-year hiatus. Last year, Ben & Jerry's gave out 970,000 scoops. This year, their goal is to serve one million scoops, making it the biggest day ever.
  • Free Cone Day happens on April 16.
  • What is your fondest memory of ice cream?
