About Rona

Rona Renner has been a Registered Nurse for 40 years and a Parent Educator/Parent Advocate for the last 18 years. She is the Executive Director of Childhood Matters Inc., a non-profit organization that produces parent education radio shows and web sites in English and Spanish. Since 2002. Nurse Rona has been the host of the weekly talk show, Childhood Matters, where she brings information, inspiration, and advice to people who care about children in Northern California and Monterey County. Rona was a pediatric advice nurse, temperament counselor, ADHD expert, and parent educator, at Kaiser Permanente, Richmond Medical Center, for 14 years. She is happily married, has four children, and one grandson.
