A luxury hotel for dogs is to open in New York City next month. Dogs staying at the establishment in Manhattan will have their own rooms complete with double bed and a flat-screen television. The Chelsea hotel aims to offer its canine guests with the same level of comfort and luxury that humans enjoy, rather than them being put in kennels. Dog owners can even opt to include a tour of the city for their pet if they wish to pay an additional fee. Owners have the choice of putting their pet in a Standard room at a cost of $79 a day, or they can reserve a luxury suite at a cost of $200. The L.A. location is quite successful.
