Your evening commute across the Bay Bridge is about to get a lot brighter...literally. The Bay Lights art installation opens tonight at 9p.m. and will live for two years on the iconic West Span of The Bay Bridge. It will include 25,000 individually addressable LEDs programmed by artist Leo Villareal to display a fine arts experience like no other. At 1.5 miles long and 500ft high this will be the biggest light sculpture in the world.
