What got you into radio? I originally wanted to be a High School counselor. I got a D in psychology (hope my kids don't read this) so I decided to try something else! While in college I found myself on the speech and debate team. I discovered I liked working with my voice. I've always loved music. Hummm...what could I do with voice and music? DJ! I changed my major and here I am.

What's the last thing you spent $100 on? A CPR class. I finally got certified, wish I would have done it a long time ago.

Tell us a random fact about yourself. I was a Mexican Ballet Folklorico dancer for 20 years. I almost ran off to dance with one of the best groups in Mexico. It was my senior year of college and I decided to finish up my degree instead. Now my son and daughter dance. Get this...their instructor was a dancer in the group I wanted to run off with!!!! He now lives in the Bay Area and has his school here. Talk about a small world!

Can you do a cartwheel?  Yes I can, the splits too! For now anyway, ask me again next year.

Favorite sentimental quote. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift...that's why it's called the present.

Secret guaranteed weeping movie. I'm a huge Barbra Streisand fan. I've got to go with Funny Girl and The Way We Were.

What do you consider a vacation? Staying in bed all day on a Sunday with the newspaper, my favorite books and videos. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served on a tray with a rose and champagne. Disneyland ALWAYS works too!

Where were you born? Castro Valley, CA

What do you cook best? Mexican food. All of my dear mom's recipes.
